What I Thought:
What I Loved: The character’s personalities were so well developed. As a reader, I connected with each of them in different ways, and wanted to know what happened to them.
How I Felt: Curious to see what happened, worried for some characters, and angry at the extremely dis-likable side-characters.
To Read or Not To Read: Definitely a To Read! This was such a well-written book with so many twists and turns, you can’t help, but be pulled in!
What’s This Book About Anyway?
Jane, a single mom, is new to a town filled with rich, snobby parents that quietly judge her. Madeline, a fun and loving, but takes no B.S. woman befriends Jane, bringing her into Madeline’s protective fold. Jane has a past that slowly takes shape as the book progresses. It haunts her, and we watch as she works through her fear and scars from it. Celeste, Madeline’s long-time best friend, has secrets of her own. On the outside, she is the beauty that everyone envies, but at home, her life is nothing like it seems. These three women, all so different, become bonded as they uncover their secrets together.
