My Thoughts:

What I Loved: The idea of time travel with no control was crazy! I can’t imagine jumping from one time to another with no planning. I also loved the timeline that the author used to tell the story, one person’s going forward in a straight line, the other person’s jumping around. It made for a very interesting read!

How I Felt: This book kind of freaked me out! The thought of time traveling without control over when and where you go is terrifying. And then you get there and have no clothes 😵! The whole story had me feeling so sad. It’s a great love story, but they could have had so much more than time gave them.

To Read or Not To Read: Definitely a to read! The beginning of the book can be a bit confusing, but once you understand the time traveling and the character relationships, you are hooked!

What’s This Book About Anyway?

This story is a love story, but through the lens of time travel. Henry and Clare meet when she is 6 and he is 36. The story is told through both Clare and Henry’s view, so we get to experience the moments at different ages for each character. Henry has been diagnosed with a disease that makes him uncontrollably travel through time. The couple try to live a normal life, but are interrupted by Henry’s travel. How do they cope with this? What can they do?
