The Wrath of Raghnall by Shauna Richmond

Rating: 5 out of 5.

What I Loved:

I absolutely loved Freya and Finn! Freya is this kick-ass woman who takes nothing less than what she deserves. Finn is just not interested in following any rules. I loved his disregard for the way he is expected to act. Finn is just Finn and he’s not apologizing for it!

How I Felt:

Vikings. Magic. Epic Battles. Rivaling Houses. Medieval Setting. All these things combined in this book to make an exciting and interesting read!

Overall, the characters in The Wrath of Raghnall were awesome! I was a bit worried in the very beginning because I felt like I was meeting a lot of people at one time, but as the story progressed, I was so glad I got that initial introduction of each of them.

Shauna Richmond’s writing was excellent. I was so drawn into the story. She chose the perfect way to put the story together, offering a great opening scene that immediately drew me in. As the story unfolds, there is action that keeps the book feeling fast-paced,] with twists and turns to surprise the reader, but also moments of character background, giving the story such a well-rounded feeling.

To Read or Not To Read:

This book is perfect for readers of fantasy that enjoy a medieval setting. This book ended in a way that has me hoping for a second in the series!
