A Delicate Dance of Souls by Karen D. Hamilton

Welcome to the A Delicate Dance of Souls blog tour
hosted by iRead Book Tours!

Rating: 4 out of 5.

A Delicate Dance of Souls is a beautiful story focusing on the struggle a person goes through in a relationship. I really enjoyed the characters in the story. I felt connected to them in such an emotional way!

The story introduces us to Matt, a military veteran, who returns home to a marriage that is destroyed. He takes a trip to a Wyoming campground to spend some time alone to reflect and heal in A Delicate Dance of Souls.

Nicole is struggling with her own relationships and meets Matt during his camping trip. Together they explore their fears and find a connection together that neither of them saw coming.

I really loved watching Matt and Nicole’s relationship grow. I found this book to have so much to say on how we each heal individually. Everyone has their own path to take. There is a strong presence of spirituality throughout this story, which added this whole additional layer to the story that I enjoyed so much.

Overall, I felt that this was a well-written story with such a variety of ideas and thoughts, I found myself taking so many notes. I will come back to this book over and over again, and I believe that I’ll get new information out of it each time.

Content Warning:

This book contains some sexual scenes and discusses rape (does not happen in the book, but is talked about)

To Read or Not To Read:

I would recommend A Delicate Dance of Souls for readers that enjoy a romance that focuses on exploring the emotions of the characters and relationships.

When souls intersect deeply, but their paths are separate…

After a harrowing experience from his service in the military, Matt returns only to find his marriage to the love of his life is over. In the midst of his darkness, Matt seeks peace camping in Wyoming, where he meets Nicole, an intriguing woman who shifts his perspective and changes his life forever.

As their connection deepens, their relationship uncovers the fears that are holding both of them back. Matt isn’t the only one with an unresolved love in his past. Waiting in the wings is Sam, Nicole’s business partner, and best friend. The pair have a history of more than just event planning, but Nicole has always been afraid of letting Sam get too close. In this novel of self-discovery, compassion, and healing, Nicole and Matt are brought to a greater understanding and acceptance of themselves, and who they are in the world.
