If you could go back in time, where would you go?
I would go back to when I was a little girl at my Grandma’s house (NiNi). She is in my childrens’ book! My grandma has been in heaven for 4 years and I miss her very much
What is your favorite dessert?
Ice cream!

What’s the funniest thing that ever happened to you?
My senior high school production was Wizard of Oz, and I played the Scarecrow! This was such a funny character to play and there were lots of jokes and laughs about it off and on stage.
The scariest?
The summer before my Junior year I was out of state for a church retreat and was involved in an active shooter incident. I remember hiding in the hotel bathroom and texting to my mom what I thought would be my last words to her, “I’m sorry I didn’t get to tell you about my amazing week with Jesus. I love you.

The strangest?
One night when I was home alone, I almost called the cops on a possum.
A native of Houston, Texas, Koedi Nealy is a senior at Cypress Christian School. She received her local minister’s license at the age of sixteen and is an active member of her school and community, holding leadership roles in various sports, drama, praise and worship groups, Thespian Society, and National Honor Society. She is the founder and president of Graced Ministry. She has not let dyslexia define or deter her as she advocates for others with learning differences through the NILD program.
