Wow, I flew through this book! This was something that I really needed in my life, making it incredibly impactful for me!

Louie Giglio’s self-help book, Don’t Give the Enemy a Seat at Your Table, is a heavily Christian book. He prays at the beginning and end of the book, and the overall theme is not to let the devil have a seat at your table. Of course, the devil is not just the literal devil. He’s talking about how to stop letting anxiety, worries, fear take hold of your life.

I really enjoyed the personal stories that Giglio brings into his book, providing examples that helped me to understand what he was trying to explain. I also enjoyed at the end of the audio version of this book, he provided a live audio of a sermon version of this book. It was really interesting to listen to!

I feel like this book really helped me to be able to stop allowing things to interfere with my life when I don’t want them to. I would recommend this book for any person that is struggling with allowing dark thoughts to control their life. With the Christian tones, I think a believer will appreciate the book more, but if you’re a non-believer, but open to the idea of the book, it’s got great information in it!
