This is an adorable children’s book with a great main character! Starr is a wonderfully unique panda, and she knows it! She is proud of herself and her talents, and she loves to share them with everyone! When she meets a new friend, Shine, who is not a comfortable in his own skin, Starr helps him to see how wonderful he is!
My daughter and I really enjoyed this one. Starr is an amazing friend, and helps her new friend realize how special he is. This also helps her to show the reader how great it is to embrace who they are too!
The illustrations are beautiful, and really made us feel like we were in the forest with Starr! I would recommend this for readers that are in early elementary school.
