This is a fun, silly book that will make any of your littles giggle! It reminded me of reading Where the Sidewalk ends when I was a child! The stories range from brushing your teeth in the morning to going to bed at night…and everything in-between!
I really enjoyed that these poems were grounded in realistic situations that every kid has encountered. Boo-boos, bedtime, nose picking, and so much more! It’s a relatable book of poetry that definitely had my kiddo laughing!
Each page has a fun poem and beautiful illustrations to bring it to life! The illustrator, Amy Wummer, has created a bright enticing art that my daughter really enjoyed!
Overall, I think this is a great book for kids. It’s great for daycares and home libraries!

Bruce Shutts has spent countless hours reading children’s picture books to his three children and five grandchildren over the past forty years. He also loves to create humorous poems for nearly every occasion he can imagine. Coupled with the fact that he often thinks and acts like a three-to-six-year-old, it makes his entrance into the world of children’s books a natural fit. He currently is retired with his wife of forty-five years and loves to travel, play golf, and (you guessed it) read books at night to his grandkids!
