My goodness, I just really enjoy Nikki Bryant! She’s such a great main character for this series, and I was so excited to get her back in the second book in this series!

The thing I love so much about cozy mysteries is that I get the murder and investigative aspect, but it’s a bit more light hearted and fun! Lauren Carr knows how to capture that balance perfectly! This plot was so much fun! I loved how the story unfolded and everything that happened along the way!

I really enjoyed this story, and I highly recommend it to readers who enjoy cozy mysteries and love a fun-loving main character! You can read this one as a standalone, but Killer Deadline was great, so I would recommend starting with book 1 if you are looking for a new series!
