This book was a really good read, but I did have some struggles with it. It’s still a 4 star read for me, but The Last Thing to Burn was so outstanding, and this did not quite live up to that. It’s still a solid thriller, and it will entertain you all the way through.
Molly and Katie are twins. When Katie is found dead, Molly travels from Europe to America to find out what happened.
This story is so filled with twists and turns, and for that reason, I enjoyed it. I liked that details kept changing on me, and that I was full of guesses at what happened. One of my guesses was right, but with all the things happening, I’m pretty sure I guessed every possible thing that could have happened!
My biggest hang up with this book was around the plausibility of what happens. I won’t give details here, but I truly just felt like there was a crazy ending idea, and then whatever had to be done to make that ending come true is what was done, regardless of whether or not it could have happened.
So, there’s my big beef with this one. It was, however, a fun story, and I think there will be many thriller lovers who will enjoy this one!

Sisters. Soulmates. Strangers.
Molly Raven lives a quiet, structured life in London, finding comfort in security and routine. Her identical twin Katie, living in New York, is the exact opposite: outgoing, spontaneous, and adventurous.
But when Molly hears that Katie has died, possibly murdered, she is thrown into unfamiliar territory. As terrifying as it is, she knows she must travel across the ocean and find out what happened. But as she tracks her twin’s final movements, cracks begin to emerge, and she slowly realizes her sister was not who she thought she was and there’s a dangerous web of deceit surrounding the two of them.
