Camille Pagan writes such real stories. The characters are real, the situations are real. I just really recommend reading her works!

This was an emotional and moving story told through the voices of a mother and daughter. I really enjoyed these two perspectives as we learn the secrets that are separating the two.

Don’t Make Me Turn this Life Around by Camille Pagán

This was just such an easy, wonderful book to read. Libby feels like a character that you know in real life. She’s easy to connect with, and her story is one that feels so real.

When Libby gets an all-clear that her cancer has not returned, she knows she should feel so excited, elated, ecstatic! And yet, she doesn’t feel that way. She realizes that her life isn’t quite where she thinks it should be, and decides her family needs a vacation back to where her husband and her first met. That vacation doesn’t go quite as planned though, but that may end up being a good thing!
