I just love a locked-in thriller! This one blended so many things that I love. Some of them I’ll tell you all about, but some I’m gonna leave you hanging on…can’t have spoilers 😊!

So, Daisy Darker has a bit of a wackado family, and they don’t really spend time together. Except for Nana’s birthday each year. This year, Nana is hitting the big 8-0, and she just knows it’s going to be her last birthday. Everyone in the family smells the inheritance possibilities, so they all come.

But now they are all trapped until the tide changes, and people start dying…

Never Coming Home by Kate Williams

I am a sucker for a secluded setting where people start getting murdered, so I knew this was one I wanted to read!

A seemingly random group of social influencers are invited to a pre-opening event at a secluded island getaway…(think Fyre Festival). When they get to the island, they find themselves alone and without any of the amenities they thought they would have. The rooms are a mess, the food is…limited…and then people start dying.
